Sukriti Bhatia

Sukriti is a 10.5-year-old, Class 5 student at a Waldorf school in Mumbai. She is an avid reader and enjoys reading J K Rowling, Rick Riordan and L M Montgomery. She also loves to sketch. She has a cute hamster named Daisy. She listens to pop, k-pop and Latin pop music. Sukriti’s favourite quote by poet Philip Sidney is: “Fear is more pain than is the pain it fears”. She aspires to apply this philosophy to her own life. In “The Trouble with Time Travel”, the character of “Alison” embodies these qualities as well. Sukriti and Asya like to mirror qualities of themselves, their family and friends, as well as characters from their favourite books, when creating characters for their stories. Sukriti loves to write short stories for herself. Sukriti wants to be either an artist or a fashion designer when she grows up.
