Clinical laboratory testing of body fluids has always been an important part of diagnosis and management for a variety of diseases. Body fluids such as cerebrospinal fluid, serous fluid, and synovial fluid are often analysed for presence of different types of cells and their count and other particles (e.g. bacteria, crystals etc.). This benchbook helps in harnessing the utility of automation in body fluid analysis. The cases reported in this booklet are typical examples of a limited number of diseases. Even with the same disease, there can be varied presentations of the cases. Therefore, the case study data reported here are intended for reference use only.
