Ashok Babu Thangaraj

Ashok is an Architect by profession … a poet, a painter, a photographer, a drummer and a blogger by passion. Ashok’s lineage is from the village of Anaikkadu in Thanjavur district. He was born in Madurai where he grew up and is now living in Bangalore, India. “Ashokism”, the blog, was born in 2005 to beat the boredom of a long snowy winter while Ashok was serving in Kabul for an American construction company. His “isms” in both Poetry and Art found their expression in his multifaceted blog. This creative journey continued in Ashokism even after his return to India.
